I Kings 18:1 -The Lord said to Elijah in the third year: "Go and present yourself to Ahab." ...."I want to encourage all fellow brothers and sisters, that its our duty as men and women of God, to go out into the highways and byways compeling and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, praying that someone may have the opportunity to receive the gift of the holy spirit and become kingdom filled."

Highways Byways Ministry to Incarcerated

MISSION STATEMENT:

“PRESENTING THY SELF TO COMPEL OTHERS”

VISION STATEMENT:

We the Volunteers are committed to carrying out the Great Commission by witnessing, visiting, showing compassion unto others that are lost. We the Volunteers commit ourselves to traveling over the Highways Byways. For this example Christ suffered for us, that we should follow his steps: "Meeting the needs of others by helping break the cycle of oppression in the pain of psychological bondage." The Volunteers hearts are open to the teaching of the Apostle Paul {1-Cor 10: 24} who stated, “Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.” We the Volunteers has taken this to heart, to compel and disciple incarcerated souls, to minister before homeless men and women and to spread the gospel to the out-cast. "Praying that they may know and they too can be found." {St. Luke 15: 32}

Highways Byways Volunteers truly believe, “Our Presence Is Stronger Than Our Voice,” We the Volunteers believe as we have read, from {St. Luke 10:1} that Jesus, “Sent them two by two before His face into every city.” Saying {St. Luke 14:23} “Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in.” As true believing Volunteers, Apostle Paul instill within us, if we go {Acts 20:23} “that the Holy Spirit will testify and witness in every city.” If we the Volunteers would present ourselves as the Prophet Elijah was commissioned {1-Kings 18:1} from the Lord, “To, Go present him self!” God will do the rest! Highways-Byways, has found within Jesus {St. Luke 10: 19} that He"with-held Satan as lighting following from heaven.” We believe if we go Jesus {St. Luke 10:1} {Faces and power is before us and it’s not our voice nor our strength, but our God Lord Jesus Christ…..
